WiiGA Tour Unveils Inaugural Field at Kickoff Presentation; The Open Set for Sept. 11-12

The WiiGA Tour officially has its field.

At a kickoff presentation Thursday night at Club 114, commissioners Dylan Speirs and Cade Zobrist unveiled the competitors who will make up the inaugural WiiGA Tour field, setting the stage for the league's first official tournament.

Club 114, which will serve as the most of all WiiGA Tour events, hosted the presentation as the organization officially introduced the players who will compete throughout the inaugural season.

The announced field includes T Burkett, Isaiah Hines, Malachi Zapata, Jeremiah Rogers, Michael Ramares, Titus Whitfield, Heath Chupp, Alex Snodgrass, Cade Martin and Jacob Kopp, along with commissioners and competitors Speirs and Zobrist.

"This is the moment where it starts to feel real," Speirs said during the presentation. "We've talked about building this tour, we've talked about the competition, and now we finally have the players."

Zobrist echoed that excitement, emphasizing the significance of bringing the competitors together under one league.

"We've got a great group of guys, and everybody is going to have a chance to make their mark," Zobrist said. "Now it's time to see who can actually play."

The Open to Launch WiiGA Competition. The wait won't be long.

The WiiGA Tour will officially kick off Sept. 11-12 with The Open, the first tournament in league history. The event will mark the beginning of competitive play at Club 114 and give the inaugural field its first opportunity to establish itself on the WiiGA leaderboard.

The tournament will be contested on the familiar nine-hole, par-36 Wii Sports Golf course, the playing ground that has already produced record-setting performances during the tour's qualifying period. As well as this, the commissioners announced the new Resort Course, adding new challenges and more intense moments with its similar nine-hole, par-36 setup. With the field now set, attention turns toward The Open. For the players introduced Thursday night, the next step is simple: get to the course and play.

The WiiGA Tour has its competitors. Club 114 has its players. And on Sept. 11, the inaugural tournament begins.
