Dylan Speirs put together one of the day's standout performances, firing a 3-under-par round on the 36-par, nine-hole course.
Speirs' performance came after an unforgettable practice round in which he produced the shot of the day — a hole-in-one on Hole 4.
The ace came during a +6 practice round, but despite the overall score, the perfect shot provided an early glimpse of what Speirs was capable of. With the ball tracking toward the pin, Speirs watched as it disappeared straight into the cup, turning an otherwise ordinary practice round into a memorable one.

When it mattered, Speirs delivered.
The -3 final round represented a dramatic improvement from his +6 practice round. Rather than letting the struggles of the practice session carry over, Speirs settled into his game and consistently found ways to save strokes throughout the nine holes.
And while the practice-round ace won't officially change his tournament score, it may have been the confidence boost Speirs needed.

Cade Zobrist also impressed, shooting -3 and matching Speirs' final-round score.
Cade Martin finished at +7, while Jacob Kopp put together a career-best performance, shooting Even par.
The newcomers had contrasting debuts. Malachi Zapata finished at +9, while T Burkett made an encouraging first appearance with a +3.
But the biggest takeaway from the day may belong to Speirs: a hole-in-one in practice, followed by a 3-under performance when it counted.
The ace may have come during a +6 round, but the message was clear — Dylan Speirs has found his game.
